Dental Examinations

Grade 7 dental requirements

• The state of Pennsylvania requires a dental examination be completed during the 7th grade school year.

• Parents have the following options for their child: private dentist, the mobile dentist, or the school dentist.

• The school dentist will complete an evaluation while at the school. If a student needs treatment, treatment must be completed outside of the school building.

• The mobile dentist completes evaluations and will provide treatment and restorative work while in the school building. If you wish for your child to see the mobile dentist please contact the school nurse and paperwork will be sent home to you.

• A private dentist may complete  your child's dental exam. Please have your dentist fill out the private dentist form and return to the school.
